MOFCOM said the U.S. FCC move to add foreign power inverters and advanced
robotics equipment to a 'covered list' targets goods that are normal
international commodities and that trade benefits all parties, including the
U.S. It accused Washington of overbroad national-security claims and of using
administrative powers to disrupt normal commercial transactions and push
decoupling and supply‑chain severing, described the measures as
market‑distorting unilateral bullying, urged immediate revocation, and warned
that China will resolutely retaliate to safeguard its legitimate rights and
interests if the U.S. persists.
