Yangtze Memory Technologies (YMTC) said circulating reports that the USPTO on July 28 invalidated all 19 claims of its core 3D‑NAND patent are "seriously misleading" and that claims YMTC‑related stocks plunged were malicious fabrications inconsistent with the facts. YMTC said it sued Micron in the U.S. in Nov 2023 for alleged patent infringement covering 27 patents and 295 claims; the case is ongoing, the company will not comment on active litigation and updates are available via public channels.

Nasdaq-100 falls more than 1%; S&P 500 down 0.7%. NVIDIA (NVDA.O) falls over 3%.
