On July 30, Hamas said leader Haya led a delegation to Ankara to meet Turkey
foreign minister Hakan Fidan. The two held in-depth talks on the
Israel-Palestine situation and Gaza, with particular focus on the negotiations
currently under way in Cairo. Both sides expressed high concern over conditions
in Gaza. Hamas reported specific breaches of the Gaza ceasefire agreement and
ongoing military clashes, and the parties exchanged views on violence by Israeli
settlers in the West Bank.
