US indices rebounded overnight and the China Dragon Index rose. After four
straight gains, Hong Kong opened slightly lower; the Hang Seng opened down 21
pts at 25,837, plunged below its 250-day moving average to an intraday low of
25,622 (-235 pts) before recovering. By the morning close the Hang Seng was down
0.11% and the Hang Seng Tech Index was up 0.7%. Market turnover was HKD178.57bn.
Storage names, newly listed AI stocks and PCB plays rallied sharply;
brain–computer interface, electronic components and commercial-space stocks also
posted strong gains. Alcoholic beverages, consumer electronics and
mainland-traded stocks eased, while autos, paper and dairy lagged. Notable

(00992.HK) +7.5%+, Alibaba (09988.HK) and Laopu Gold (06181.HK) ~+6%; Xiaomi
