Macao Chief Executive Cen Haohui met with Ministry of Industry and Information Technology Vice Minister Xiong Jijun to discuss deepening cooperation, advancing innovation and technology development, and supporting national science and technology construction. Xiong said MIIT will implement the central leadership’s decisions, support Macao’s economic development and livelihoods, and better integrate Macao into the national development agenda. The sides signed a Cooperation Agreement on Developing New Quality Productive Forces to Promote New‑Type Industrialization; MIIT said it will use the pact to plan and implement follow‑up measures, strengthen mainland–Macao exchange and cooperation in industry and information technology, and contribute to developing new quality productive forces and advancing new‑type industrialization under China’s modernization drive.
