Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) said inventories this week: copper down 276 tonnes, aluminum down 6,350 tonnes, zinc up 963 tonnes, lead up 6,437 tonnes, nickel up 1,882 tonnes, tin down 170 tonnes, natural rubber up 541 tonnes.

At a July 31 regular briefing, China’s foreign ministry said it supports Chinese firms conducting international cooperation on a market basis, that such cooperation should be mutually beneficial, and that it hopes other countries provide a fair, non-discriminatory business environment.
