Palestinian civil defense spokesman Mahmoud Bassal said in a video statement on the 2nd that Israeli drones and airstrikes struck multiple locations across the Gaza Strip, killing at least 18 people, including two women and four children. He said an Israeli drone fired two missiles at a civilian vehicle in Gaza City in the evening, killing four; an airstrike on a tent in west Gaza City killed two, including a 13-year-old, and wounded eight. Indonesian officials said rare-earth export policy has been clarified: the ban applies only to a single product, and exports of minerals not containing rare earths resumed on Sunday.
