Brazil’s crude production reached a record in June, helping to offset supply
disruptions from the war involving Iran. ANP data show June crude output rose
about 19% YoY to 4.5 mln bpd and roughly 4% from May; oil and gas output totaled
5.8 mln boe/d. State-controlled Petróleo Brasileiro (Petrobras) led the
increase, extracting more from fields and pushing Búzios and other deepwater
platforms above nameplate capacity; ANP says Petrobras-operated fields account
for about 87% of Brazil’s oil production.
