Orders for China-made water-sports equipment have surged. At a motorized surfboard plant, workers say production schedules are booked about two weeks out as management races to fill orders. Accessories including surf hoods and waterproof bags are selling out online and factories are expediting replenishment. China remains the world’s largest sports-goods exporter, accounting for more than 40% of global exports. In 1H, Chinese sports goods and equipment exports totaled 67.53 bln yuan; paddleboards and other water-sports equipment exports reached 4.77 bln yuan.

Via Shanghai Stock Connect, Tracker Fund of Hong Kong and Tencent were the largest net buys at HKD 4.75 bln and HKD 1.498 bln; SMIC was the top net seller at HKD 371 mln. Via Shenzhen Stock Connect, Alibaba-W and Tencent were net bought HKD 3.00 bln and HKD 935 mln; SMIC led net sales at HKD 692 mln.
