On Aug 3, Ukrainian President Zelenskiy signed a presidential decree, published
on the presidential website, dismissing Ukraine's ambassador to the United
States, Stefanishyna. The decree also removed Omelichenko as ambassador to
France and concurrent permanent representative to UNESCO, and appointed
Lialina‑Boiko as Ukraine's permanent representative to UNESCO. Additional
dismissals include Ukraine's ambassadors to Tunisia (also accredited to Libya),
Austria, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and the ambassador to Singapore (also accredited
to Brunei).
