At the morning open on China’s futures market, main contracts were mostly
higher. Polysilicon and stainless steel led gains, up more than 2%. Container
freight on Europe routes, polypropylene (PP), plastics, the PP monthly-average
contract, glass and methanol rose over 1%. Decliners included red dates,
palladium, fuel oil and Shanghai lead, down more than 1%, while SC crude, soda
ash and Shanghai zinc fell around 1%.
