China dividend-focused ETFs recorded YTD cumulative net inflows that briefly exceeded CNY30 billion. As of Aug. 3, E Fund's dividend suite led flows: E Fund Dividend Low Vol ETF and E Fund Dividend ETF drew CNY8.405 billion and CNY6.733 billion respectively, both ranking among the top three dividend ETFs. The flows coincide with the start of half-year disclosures, which will reveal dividend plans, cash flow and profitability; banks, energy and utility leaders with sustainable dividend capacity are expected to attract investor interest and support more durable price repair. Persistently low interest rates are also shifting household allocations toward high-dividend assets, underpinning long-term demand for dividend-like, quasi–fixed-income allocations.
