The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy plans to establish an industrial resource security fund to secure critical minerals, expand petroleum and mineral stockpiles and diversify crude import sources, the ministry said at a Blue House H2 work briefing. The fund will be financed from an energy special account; MOTIE said it will reactivate that account after its management was transferred to the climate ministry following last October's government reshuffle.
