Novo Nordisk (NVO.N) raised its full-year guidance for the second time this
year, citing higher sales expectations for its obesity and diabetes medicines.
Adjusted operating profit for Q2 2026 was DKK 33.389bn. The company now expects
maximum declines in sales and profit of 6% this year at constant currency,
narrowed from a prior worst-case of a 12% decline. Novo Nordisk said it is
competing with Eli Lilly (LLY.N) in the obesity market, which it expects could
reach about $120bn a year by 2030.
