On the 6th (local time) the Odesa regional military administration said a civilian bulk carrier flying the Guinea-Bissau flag and transporting Ukrainian wheat was attacked by Russian forces in the Black Sea. The vessel sustained hull damage and caught fire; one person was killed and three wounded. All crew have been evacuated ashore and the injured are receiving treatment. Russia has not commented.

According to Refinitiv, the Democratic Republic of Congo has banned exports of copper and cobalt concentrates.
