O-Film said it acquired 51% of Hefei Zhongke Daojing Technology via purchase of existing shares plus a capital injection, becoming the company’s controlling shareholder. The move follows O-Film’s June setup of a machine-vision unit, July launch of a micro‑nano devices arm and a prior stake in Xinguanglian, marking another strategic push into the optical-communications supply chain. Founded in 2023 and spun out of the Chinese Academy of Sciences Institute of Intelligent Machines’ microsystems lab, Zhongke Daojing’s core team includes CAS postdocs and senior researchers and draws on nearly a decade of R&D in glass-based advanced packaging, covering core process development, process optimization and transfer to mass production.
