At the 2026 Huawei Data Storage Users Elite Forum, Huawei Data Storage product line VP Wu Junjie said global storage chip price increases have had an impact, with industry peers implementing multiple price rises this year that have affected Huawei’s strategy. He said Huawei has communicated transparently with global customers and partners on timing and expected effects, and can guarantee customer supply; the company’s large global chip procurement, stable and diversified upstream supply chain, and forward forecasting and supply measures underpin that assurance.
