If both spouses contribute, the caps are 2.4 mln yuan for a first home and 2.0 mln yuan for a second home. Eligibility for additional uplifts: (1) households with hukou in the city’s six central districts buying a first home outside those districts: +200k yuan; (2) purchases that qualify under Beijing’s green building support policy: +400k yuan; (3) Beijing hukou families with two or more children buying housing: +400k yuan. Multiple conditions may stack: maximum additional uplift is +600k yuan for one contributor and +1.0 mln yuan for both contributors, implying a potential first‑home cap of up to 1.8 mln yuan (one contributor) or 3.4 mln yuan (both contributors). Actual loan amounts remain subject to household repayment ability.
