A senior executive at Brazil's state oil company Petrobras said the firm's 2027–31 investment plan aims to make Brazil self-sufficient in diesel production.

Qianwen's mobile app and PC client added five features — Thinking Research (an upgrade from Deep Thinking with stronger reasoning and information integration), scheduled tasks, an office assistant, an agent marketplace, and voice calling — and now supports Alibaba's flagship model Qwen3.8‑MAX. All features are free to users. The office assistant can autonomously decompose complex office tasks, invoke tools, deliver outputs and sync across mobile and PC; professional users will be able to purchase higher usage quotas.

A-share storage chip sector jumped in early trade; Woge Optoelectronics rose over 9%, Youyan New Materials, Hongban Technology and Goke Microelectronics climbed over 8%, while Guangli Technology, Zhengfan Technology and Shengyi Technology also advanced.
