Berkshire Hathaway A (BRK.A.N) said it repurchased roughly $4.5 bln of stock in
Q2, the first buybacks in over a year after the company resumed repurchases in
Q1. CEO Greg Abel said top executives restarted buybacks because they believed
the shares' intrinsic value exceeded the market price. Berkshire shares were up
3.8% YTD as of Friday's close.
