Ali Jahanshahi, commander of Iran’s army, said all forces are at "full readiness" and would respond decisively to any threat, Press TV reported. Speaking after inspecting ground units in southeast Iran and along the Makran coast, he said units were continuously monitoring movements, precisely tracking threats and prepared to defend the Islamic Republic’s borders. He added recent events had exposed the enemy’s "true strength and capability" and warned that "if any US military personnel set foot on Iran, we will cut them off."

Iran Chamber of Commerce head said the private sector is ready to deploy its expertise to design mechanisms to consolidate the economic benefits of any potential agreement and protect those gains. He added that deeper, balanced economic ties and shared interests between countries raise the cost of reverting to tensions.
