At the morning open, China’s main futures contracts were mixed. Soda ash and
ethylene glycol (EG) gained over 3%, fuel oil rose more than 2%, and Shanghai
silver, SC crude and coking coal rallied around 2%. Decliners: monthly-average
PVC fell over 2%; Shanghai tin, Shanghai zinc, lithium carbonate, Europe-route
container freight and international copper dropped more than 1%.
