The Central Bank of Iran governor said banks' excess borrowing from the central bank and banks' liquidity creation are major drivers of inf. Over the past four to five months excess withdrawals from the central bank have fallen to zero; the central bank will no longer permit such operations to slow the pace of inf's rise and said the ban must be strictly enforced.
