Researchers at the University of Science and Technology of China (academician Guo Guangcan and Prof. Han Zhengfu) with the Xi'an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics (Zhang Wenfu) published a paper proposing and demonstrating a microcavity-based optical-soliton, large-scale integrated measurement-device-independent (MDI) quantum key distribution (QKD) network scheme, providing a technical path toward scalable, high-security practical deployment of quantum communication networks.
