China's State Administration for Market Regulation and the Ministry of Industry
and Information Technology have issued a public call for 2026 projects to
advance metrology support for new-quality industrial productivity, in line with
the 2025–2030 Metrology Support Action Plan. The solicitation targets urgent
measurement needs in strategic emerging and future industries—next‑generation
information technology, artificial intelligence, aerospace, new energy, new
materials, high‑end equipment, biomedicine, quantum technology, integrated
circuits and instrumentation—prioritizing development of key common metrology
equipment, measurement technology R&D, commercialization and industry
applications that resolve critical chokepoints, enable domestic substitution and
fill gaps in domestic and international capabilities.
