Victims' important files are encrypted and renamed with a .sorry suffix; attackers leave ransom notes demanding victims download an encrypted communication tool to contact them.

Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell said on social media Kendall "unauthorizedly disclosed classified information" about Air Force One’s capabilities, and that Kendall’s access to classified information has been revoked and he is barred from sensitive positions.
