Shares of Dashi Intelligent opened sharply higher and closed at the daily upper limit after market rumors that it indirectly held a 0.04% stake in Yushu Technology. The company's securities department said it holds no direct or indirect shares in Yushu and currently has no robotics R&D, production or manufacturing operations. In response to the price move, Dashi Intelligent reiterated there are no undisclosed material matters.

At Wednesday's open (Aug 12), China's Shanghai Composite Index was down 0.01% at 3,933.55; Shenzhen Composite Index down 0.04% at 14,253.12; CSI 300 Index down 0.07% at 4,660.47; ChiNext Index down 0.20% at 3,542.13; STAR 50 Index up 0.64% at 1,720.36.
