Canada's minister for U.S.-Canada trade LeBlanc met U.S. Trade Representative Greer in Washington on Tuesday and said Canada remains committed to negotiations and will continue to press and defend Canadian interests.

Iranian President Pezeshkian, after meeting Pakistan Interior Minister Naqvi, said Tehran is willing to deepen relations with Islamabad across political, economic, trade, cultural and security fields and that stronger bilateral cooperation would "enhance regional stability and security." Naqvi called Iran-Pakistan ties "firm and unbreakable" and said Islamabad is determined to expand relations with Tehran.
