Iran's Ministry of Intelligence said it dismantled two operational cells of 'terrorist extremist groups' in southeastern Iran, arresting four terrorists and killing two.

Apple has proposed a floating payment model tied to content usage and has discussed a budget potentially reaching several hundred million dollars.

Guangdong provincial government and Alibaba (China) Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation framework in Guangzhou on Aug. 13. The signing was witnessed by Guangdong Party Secretary Huang Kunming, Deputy Party Secretary and Governor Meng Fanli, and Alibaba Group CEO Wu Yongming. Parties agreed to deepen cooperation through the 15th Five-Year period, targeting artificial intelligence, cloud computing, e-commerce, smart logistics, cultural tourism and travel, and public services, with an emphasis on delivering flagship projects and expanding strategic collaboration.
