Aug 13, Optics Valley — China has launched drafting of a national standards
series for humanoid robot testing, initiating seven draft standards including
general rules, environmental perception, decision and planning, and motion
control. More than 200 industry and academic representatives attended, including
Unitree Robotics, Xiaomi Robotics, Magic Atom, ZTE, CloudMinds, Horizon
Robotics, Lingxin Qiaoshou and other domestic robotics firms, plus Wuhan
University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Nanjing University of
Aeronautics and Astronautics, Northwestern Polytechnical University, China
Jiliang University and University of Bamberg. Hubei provincial electronic
information standardization committee unveiled a Humanoid Robot and Embodied
Intelligence standards working group; the first 29 members include the Hubei
Humanoid Robot Innovation Center, Hubei Institute of Metrology and Testing
Technology, Wuhan University and HUST.
