China A-share innovative drug sector rebounded after an intraday trough; Yuheng Pharmaceutical hit the daily limit, following an earlier limit-up in Huasen Pharmaceutical. Zhijiang Bio, Shiyao Innovation, Longshen Rongfa, Tailong Pharmaceutical and WuXi AppTec also advanced.

Saudi media, citing Yemen’s armed forces, reported strikes on Houthi positions across the contact line. Yemen’s forces said they have the capability and readiness to strike and neutralize Houthi threat sources and that the strikes destroyed dozens of devices and weapons depots.

Israel's seasonally adjusted Q2 GDP rose 15.4% at an annualized rate, the Israel Central Bureau of Statistics said on Sunday, outpacing the Bloomberg median forecast of 8.3% from eight economists. Q1 GDP was revised to a 2.2% contraction. Goods and services exports led the rebound, up 35.2%; government consumption rose 19.5%, private consumption 14.7% and fixed capital formation 6.3%. Mizrahi‑Tefahot Bank chief strategist Yonie Fanning said before the release the economy is expected to see a "rapid recovery" after contraction linked to conflict with Iran, with consumer spending including durables a key driver.
