The Iranian parliament’s presidium spokesman Abbas Goudarzi said on the 16th the legislature passed an anti-infiltration bill to counter infiltration by hostile intelligence agencies and foreign governments or organisations. Hassan Kashkavi, spokesman for the parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, said existing laws address espionage but left a legal gap on anti-infiltration that the new bill is intended to fill.

Shenzhou Semiconductor has established its Central China headquarters and an R&D center in Wuhan’s Optics Valley computing-storage innovation park to develop semiconductor RF power supplies and matching units. The company is registering a wholly owned Optics Valley subsidiary; the project is slated to begin operations in Q1 next year.
