Aug 17 — AstraZeneca said Tezspire (tezepelumab) is now commercially available
in China. In March 2026 tezepelumab was approved in China, based on positive
Phase III DIRECTION and WAYPOINT trials, for two indications: maintenance
treatment of severe asthma in adults and adolescents aged 12 and over; and, as
an add-on to intranasal corticosteroids, treatment of adult chronic
rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps (CRSwNP) not adequately controlled by systemic
corticosteroids and/or surgery.
