China's National Bureau of Statistics said industrial value added at firms above designated size rose 5.3% YoY in Jan–Jul. By sector, mining +2.5% YoY, manufacturing +5.6%, utilities +5.4%. July manufacturing PMI 49.2; business expectations index 54.1. Jan–Jun total profits at industrial firms above designated size were 3.948 tln yuan, up 18.7% YoY.

China A-share CPO sector rallied; Zhongshi Technology, Gongjin Co. and Tianyang New Materials hit daily trading limits, while Taichen Guang, Sijia Photon, Alaide and Tianfu Communication also climbed.
