Iran’s deputy communications minister said fiber access registrations rose from 350,000 to 1,000,000 over the past two years, about a fourfold increase. He said Iran Telecom Company is advancing a network upgrade program to replace copper with fiber to boost data transmission speeds and expand coverage.

Swedish electric freight and autonomous-driving firm Einride will deploy 500 Tesla Semi trucks on its SAGA AI platform to serve Amazon and other customers across North America. The rollout will expand Einride’s electric freight network along U.S. corridors including California, Texas, New Jersey, Illinois and Georgia. Vehicles will be deployed in multiple phases over the next 24 months beginning in September and will be fully funded through third-party financing.
