Local CSRC bureaus have issued self-inspection notices to private fund managers,
focusing on disclosure accuracy and risk controls. The China Securities
Investment Fund Industry Association (AMAC) has also issued a special notice
requiring some private securities fund managers to self-examine the NAV
performance of certain funds. Industry contacts said the transition period for
the Private Securities Investment Fund Operation Guidelines expired on Aug. 1,
prompting managers to strengthen compliance and upgrade governance and
compliance systems.
