China's He met Chilean foreign minister Pérez on Aug. 19. He said bilateral
political trust has deepened under leaders' strategic guidance and that China is
prepared to step up economic cooperation with Chile—focusing on trade,
investment and technology—under a high-quality Belt and Road framework to
advance the comprehensive strategic partnership. Pérez said deepening ties with
China is a Chilean diplomatic priority and will use the 10th anniversary of the
bilateral comprehensive strategic partnership to expand cooperation.
