Switzerland's foreign trade in July (seasonally adjusted): nominal exports rose
13.8% MoM (real +10.7%) to CHF27.8bn, the highest level since March 2025.
Nominal imports fell 4.5% MoM (real -2.8%). The chemicals–pharmaceuticals sector
was the decisive driver on both export and import flows. The divergence pushed
the trade surplus to CHF8.1bn, a single-month record.
