as firmer capesize rates outweighed weaker Panamax freight. Baltic Capesize
Index (BCI) climbed 53 points (1.2%) to 4,429; capesize average daily earnings
rose $486 to $36,667. Baltic Panamax Index (BPI) fell 19 points (1.0%) to 2,088,
its lowest since July 31; Panamax average daily earnings declined $174 to
$18,790. Supramax index (BSI) gained 3 points (0.2%) to 1,637, a high since July
28, while Handysize index (BHSI) rose 4 points to 871.
