EVE Energy said on a conference call its on‑hand energy-storage orders already exceed current production capacity. The company expects storage shipments to increase sharply next year, with the pace of growth contingent on capacity ramp‑up timing. The overseas share of sales will rise this year as international customers scale up. Growth is concentrated in power-storage, grid-networking storage and AIDC and other emerging segments.

GfK's UK consumer confidence index rose to -14 in August, its highest since Aug 2024, aided by continued good weather and a new prime minister's "Burnham effect." The index had climbed 6 pts in July under the same influences. GfK head of consumer insights Neil Bellamy warned the uptick may be short-lived as resurgent inf and persistent Middle East and other geopolitical risks will test household resilience.
