Uber (UBER.N) was fined €825m ($963m) by a Dutch regulator for using automated systems to suspend driver accounts, the second-largest penalty to date under the EU's General Data Protection Regulation.

The Russian Defence Ministry said on the 21st Russian forces continued strikes on ports and maritime vessels used by the Ukrainian armed forces, reporting drone strikes on a military warehouse at Reni, a Ukrainian navy patrol boat at Chornomorsk, and port infrastructure storing military materiel at Yuzhny; Moscow also said its forces took control of a settlement in Donetsk region. Ukrainian President Zelenskiy said early on the 21st Ukrainian forces launched long-range strikes that hit two important Russian targets — an oil refinery and a military airfield — and Kyiv reported gains in the Black Sea theatre but gave no details on specific targets or damage.
