BOE Technology Group and 3M on Aug. 21 unveiled a joint laboratory at BOE’s Technology Innovation Center. The lab will concentrate on optical films, optically transparent adhesives, structural adhesives and advanced materials, targeting light-efficiency gains and core LCD, OLED and MLED technologies—including folding mechanisms and ultra-narrow bezel processes. The partners said they will pursue joint R&D to advance higher-performance iterations for flexible seamless folding displays and automotive displays.
