The organizing committee's second working meeting for the 26th China
International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) convened in Xiamen, Fujian.
MOFCOM's vice minister and Fujian's vice governor attended; preparatory teams
reported progress. The meeting directed focus on the fair's permanent theme,
'Expand two-way investment, Promote global development,' and on deepening
CIFIT's 'Investment China' flagship exhibition and its role as a global
investment-cooperation platform. Participants were instructed to tighten event
coordination, strengthen interagency collaboration, step up project matchmaking,
refine organizational and logistical support, and boost publicity to raise the
quality and impact of the 26th CIFIT.
