The 35th International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence and the
European AI Conference closed on Aug 21 in Bremen. Several international
delegates said Chinese AI has rapidly advanced in research and industrial
applications, with robotics and large language models among global leaders.
Professor Calvanese of the Free University of Bozen‑Bolzano, who oversaw the
academic program and paper review, said China submitted the most papers and
showed high participation in machine learning, computer vision and robotics.
