The 2026 Green Computing (AI) Conference in Hohhot saw 13 projects signed totaling 136.1 bln yuan, focused on GW-scale AI compute and data-center infrastructure. His stance contrasts with earlier upbeat signals from the White House and Canadian Prime Minister Carney; negotiators aim to conclude terms before new tariff measures take effect. The draft reportedly includes cuts to Canada’s steel and aluminum tariffs, adjustments to dairy quotas and removal of some Canadian restrictions on US alcohol exports. Canadian Trade Minister Leblanc said the sides are "very close" to an agreement.
