Hubei party secretary Guan Zhi'ou met entrepreneurs involved in Wuhan's Optics
Valley "Wutong Tree Plan" on Aug 22, urging them to deepen and expand investment
in Hubei to build a full‑chain, collaborative integrated‑circuit (IC) industry
cluster. Executives from local semiconductor firms and investors attending the
meeting pledged to support and participate in the plan, concentrate resources in
Hubei, and scale up the province's IC industry to help position Hubei as a
strategic growth hub in central China.
