Russia's agriculture minister Oksana Lut said the government plans measures to support grain producers, including state grain purchases, preferential loan rollovers and sales subsidies. The ministry said it is studying alternative export routes after Ukrainian drone strikes disrupted shipping and other logistics. Moscow and Kyiv have stepped up attacks on each other's commercial vessels and ports in the Black Sea, raising concerns about global food supply; the two countries account for more than a quarter of world wheat exports. The strikes coincide with the mid-harvest season; Russia has harvested about 75 mln tonnes of wheat so far.
