He called the Trump administration's campaign an economic and propaganda war but said Iran has learned to evade long‑running U.S. sanctions and has continued to sell oil despite months of a maritime blockade. Rezaei warned any U.S. action in the southern route of the Strait of Hormuz would be a target for Iranian strikes, and said Iran would also strike U.S. forces and any anti‑Iran regional actors meeting with them.
