The U.S. Navy is testing a new air-to-air missile reported capable of striking targets beyond 290 miles (465 km), exceeding the range of known comparable weapons. Iran’s Supreme National Security Council secretary Rezaei warned Gulf states not to join U.S. economic sanctions against Tehran, saying Iran would treat the interests of any such countries as legitimate targets for retaliation.
