An Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) spokesman dismissed US claims that
Iranian radar had been struck and that tankers could safely transit the Strait
of Hormuz as largely media hype, saying the IRGC's surveillance and intelligence
extend beyond adversary-known radars and include other, potentially undetected
methods. He added that Iran's ability to precisely strike vessels at sensitive
locations demonstrates ongoing maritime monitoring capability.
